Acquiring work is a deeply personal and rewarding experience. Inquiring directly with the artist allows for intimate connections to be made between collector, artist, and the art being acquired.

The Linear Inch Model
By pricing work by a liner inch pricing model you can clearly see how I arrive at the pricing of my art (or the pricing of future works). The great thing about this is the mutability that occurs across scale, material, and emotional attachment in each piece. How it works is simple; you add together the dimensions of the piece (l+w), if two-dimensional, and (l+w+h) if sculptural.
I then multiply this by my artist rate which is based on various factors (accolades, previous acquisitions, exhibition catalogue, publications, etc.) this results in the price of a work.
My current artist rate is $18 per linear inch.

You inquire about a potential commission or to acquire a work with the dimensions of 8 inches by 10 inches. Here is how the pricing is broken down:
(8in + 10in) * ($18 per. in) = Price Total (PT)
18in * $18 per/in = PT
PT = $324
For being grateful you’re collecting my work, I round down the number to the nearest whole number in $5 increments to make it easiest for payment.
The total cost w/ tax for an 8in by 10in piece for acquisition would factor out to be; $320 (w/o factoring in shipping)

If local we can look to figure out a local drop off of the work.
